What Our Overseas Clients Say

FAQs for Overseas Pakistanis
Yes, absolutely. For the vast majority of legal matters — property transactions, family disputes, court cases, and documentation — you do not need to be physically present in Pakistan. We act on your behalf through a formal Power of Attorney. You provide us with the POA (which can be attested in your country of residence and authenticated by the Pakistan embassy), and we handle everything from that point. Many of our overseas clients have successfully resolved property disputes, obtained divorce decrees, and transferred property title without ever visiting Pakistan.
A Power of Attorney (POA) is a legal document that authorises our firm to act on your behalf in Pakistan. To get one from abroad, you have it drafted by a local solicitor or legal professional in your country, get it notarised (by a notary public), and then take it to the Pakistan Embassy or High Commission for attestation. We provide you with the exact wording required for the POA based on the specific matter. Once attested abroad, it is sent to us in Pakistan where we have it registered with the relevant local authority. We guide you through every step — this process typically takes 2–3 weeks from start to finish.
Yes. We handle CNIC blockages, passport issues, and Exit Control List (ECL) removals on a regular basis. If your CNIC is blocked, we file the appropriate applications with NADRA through court or direct representation. If you are on the ECL and wish to travel to Pakistan, we file a petition with the relevant authority (High Court or Supreme Court depending on the reason for listing) for your removal or grant of permission to travel. We also handle protective bail before arrest — meaning you can get bail secured before you even land in Pakistan, protecting you from FIA or police action.
Yes. Property in Pakistan can be sold, purchased, or transferred on your behalf through a Power of Attorney. We handle the complete process: verifying the property title, conducting due diligence, preparing the sale deed, and appearing before the relevant Sub-Registrar for deed registration — all without you needing to be present. We also verify properties on behalf of overseas buyers before purchase to protect against fraudulent transactions. The entire process typically takes 4–8 weeks depending on the complexity of the transaction and any outstanding documentation.
We provide updates via WhatsApp after every significant development — court hearings, document filings, responses from opposing parties, and any decisions. For major cases, we schedule a brief video or phone call after each hearing to explain what happened and what comes next. We also send you copies of all filed documents, court orders, and legal notices via email. We understand that not knowing what is happening with your case is one of the most stressful parts of the process — which is why we make proactive communication a firm policy, not an afterthought.
Yes. Both divorce (Talaq) and Khula proceedings can be initiated and managed from abroad through our firm. For Khula, Pakistani law technically requires the wife to appear in court — however, this requirement can be fulfilled by your authorised representative (our advocate) acting under your Power of Attorney in most Family Courts. We have successfully handled Khula cases for clients in the UK, UAE, and USA without their physical presence. The process typically takes 3–6 months depending on the specific circumstances and the court’s schedule. We walk you through every step and keep you informed throughout.
We charge a one-time consultation fee which covers the initial consultation and any follow-up questions related to the same matter — so you are not charged again each time you need clarification. This is transparently communicated before any consultation takes place. For ongoing legal representation, we provide a clear fee structure based on the specific matter before any work begins. There are no hidden charges. We believe overseas clients deserve particularly clear and honest communication about costs, and we have built our practice around that principle.
We respond to all WhatsApp messages and email enquiries within 24 hours on business days (Monday to Saturday, Pakistan time). For urgent matters — such as someone facing imminent arrest, an emergency court hearing, or a property transaction with a deadline — we prioritise same-day response. If you are in a different timezone, please mention your preferred time for a call and we will accommodate it. Our WhatsApp number is always monitored during business hours.
